History
of Dependability
Over the past 35 years,
The Model B has been continually updated and improved
to keep pace with our customer’s changing
needs. It can be specialized to incorporate
strippers, vibrators, separators, air jets,
vacuum shoes, reciprocating brushes, rotary brushes,
wipers and other devices which speed up the feed
and increase production.
The
Model B can also be converted to print on a
variety of products by replacing the design roll and
the conveyor bars. To our knowledge, all Model
B machines ever built are still on the job
today, and we continue to provide parts and service
for all of them.
Ever since we were asked to
design a machine to
print on gum balls many years ago, the R.W.
Hartnett Company has maintained that customer
satisfaction is the backbone of our business. When
you purchase one of our fine machines you are
buying more than a piece of equipment... You are
acquiring a partner who will be with you every step
of the way. From the initial design, to operating at
maximum capacity on your plant floor, to the
delivery of change-over parts down the road, the
R.W. Hartnett Company is there when you need us.
Featured Options
Experience has taught us that an important key to our
success is listening to our customers feedback and
suggestions. The Featured options were initiated by our
customers specific needs and are now available on
all models.
Two and three foot extensions were designed to allow
greater drying time for some longer drying inks. They
also give the machine operator increased time for
product inspections.
Quick change-over carrier
bars
were designed to minimize
downtime for cleaning and
product change-over. Unlike the
standard nut and bolt method
of attaching the carrier bars, a
special D-tent assembly with push
pins is installed, greatly reducing
change-over time.
Print unit hood was designed
to keep dust and other foreign objects out of the ink
fountain,
design roll and rubber roll in high
traffic areas.
