It’s All in the Flow

Viscosity, in the most basic terms, is the measure of a fluid's resistance to flow. High viscosity in tablet and capsule printing occurs when the ink becomes very thick thus making for flawed results. Our team of engineers was tasked with developing a way of gauging current viscosity during production to ensure consistent and high-quality printing.

A Dusty Situation

Tasked with printing a customer’s logo on an overly dusty caplet, the team of engineers at R.W. Hartnett developed a satisfying solution.

Under Pressure

When a client was concerned that the amount of pressure applied by the rubber roll would damage a capsule, the team at R.W. Hartnett was tasked with developing a way of measuring the exact amount of pressure being applied.
